For employers and plan sponsors

Book a 401(k) plan review.

A complimentary review of the plan you already have. We benchmark what it costs, look at the fund lineup and the share classes you have been put in, and tell you plainly whether it is competitive. If it is, we will say so.

What the review covers

Four questions, answered with numbers.

What the plan actually costs

Recordkeeping, advisory and fund expenses separated out, then benchmarked against plans of your size. Most sponsors have never seen these three numbers apart.

Whether the share classes are right

The same fund is often sold in several share classes at different prices. Being in the wrong one is the most common and most quietly expensive finding.

Who carries the liability today

Whether your current advisor is a 3(21) or a 3(38) decides who is responsible for every fund on the menu. The difference is set out here.

What your participants are getting

Enrolment, default investments and whether anyone is actually helping the people in the plan make decisions.

Helpful if you have it, though not required to book: your latest 408(b)(2) fee disclosure, the current provider's name, roughly how many people are in the plan, and approximate plan assets. If you do not have those to hand, come anyway — we can request them.
