What this website collects, and where it goes.

This page covers cannoncap.com: what you type into it, what it keeps on your own device, and the services that handle it. It describes what the site does today.

What you send us

Only what you choose to type.

Nothing on this site asks who you are until you fill in a form.

Request your strategy (home page)

Your first and last name and your email. Your phone number if you add it. How you heard about us, and the name of the person to thank, if you answer.

Plan review and 401(k) benchmark

Your name and email, your phone number if you add it, and any note you write about your situation or your company’s plan.

Tax Savings Calculator

To see your results: your name, your email and the role you pick. The figures you ran are sent too: yearly profit, what you pay yourself now (if you enter it), filing status, state, and the results. The other boxes, such as ages, children, health insurance, mortgage interest, property tax and charitable gifts, stay in your browser. If you ask for a call back, we also receive your phone number.

Canbassadors

If you join: your name and email. If you introduce someone: your name and email, their name and their email or phone, how you know them, a line of context, and whether they expect a call.

Who handles it

Where what you send goes.

Slant, Cannon’s client system

Forms are saved in Slant, the system Cannon Capital uses to keep track of client and prospect conversations, with a follow-up task for an advisor. Calculator requests go to Triton Lee, CPA. Other requests go to Chace Cannon. The one exception is the Canbassadors “join” form, which is emailed only.

An email to the office, through FormSubmit

Each request is also emailed to info@cannoncap.com through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), an email delivery service. Calculator requests are copied to triton@cannoncap.com. If FormSubmit refuses the site’s server, your browser sends the email to FormSubmit directly, so FormSubmit also receives your IP address. The Canbassadors “join” form always goes to FormSubmit directly.

Vercel, the website host

The site runs on Vercel, which serves the pages, runs the form handler, and provides the visit statistics described below.

How an advisor uses it

The advisor sees what you sent and the pages and links that brought you, so the first conversation starts in the right place.

On your own device

What the site remembers.

No cookies

The site’s own code sets no cookies.

How you reached the site

On every page, your browser keeps a short note on your own device: the page you first landed on, the site or ad that sent you, any campaign tags in the link, the pages you viewed (up to 40) with times, how many visits you have made, and whether you use a phone or a computer. It stays on your device until you send the home, plan review, 401(k) or calculator form, and then it goes with that form. It does not go with the Canbassadors forms or a call-back request.

Two smaller items

A marker that your visit has been counted, which ends with your browser session. On the calculator page only: your name, your email, a flag that you unlocked the results, and a reference that links a call-back request to your first request.

Clearing it

Apart from the session marker, these items do not expire on their own. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them.

Visit statistics

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights run on every public page to count visits and measure page speed. The site also records taps on phone numbers, email addresses, booking links, the client login and “Book a Strategy” buttons, and when a form is sent, the calculator is started, a call back is requested or the results PDF is downloaded, each with the page you were on. No event carries a name, email address or phone number that you typed.

Other services

Services the pages rely on.

Typefaces

Your browser loads the site’s fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details to deliver them.

Home page animation

The home page loads two animation scripts from jsDelivr, which receives your IP address and browser details.

Links that leave this site

Some links open other services, such as Microsoft Bookings for booking a time, eMoney for the client login, Google Maps for directions, and the SEC for Cannon’s Form CRS and Form ADV. Nothing goes to them until you click. After that, their own privacy policies apply.

No ad tracking

The site loads no advertising pixels, chat widgets, or embedded maps or videos.
